SleepSounds Sport Headband Headphones
Overview
This project shows how a single wireless sport headband can be built out into a complete retail collection. Using the physical headband as a starting point, I developed an entire commercial visual system from scratch. This case study covers everything I built for the launch, including high-fidelity product renders, feature infographics, color and pattern variations, lifestyle assets, retail packaging design, and promotional materials.
Deliverables
• Product Visualization
• Feature Communication
• Color & Pattern System
• Lifestyle Imagery
• Packaging Design
• Commercial Launch Assets
PRODUCT INTAKE
01
I started the project with a standard black prototype of the wireless headband. My first step was to study its fabric, button placement, and overall shape so I could map out a consistent, high-end visual direction for the rest of the marketing and retail assets.
FEATURE COMMUNICATION
02
To help customers quickly understand what makes the headband great, I designed a set of clear feature graphics and infographics. These visuals break down the technical details like the 9-hour battery life, button controls, and high-elasticity fabric, making the product benefits simple to read at a single glance.
COLOR & PATTERN SYSTEM
03
To help the product stand out on store shelves, I created a scalable color and pattern framework. I designed a lineup that balances clean, classic solids with expressive, trendy patterns like tie-dye and animal prints, giving the brand a simple way to expand its retail offerings.
LIFESTYLE & USE CASES
04
A big part of this project was showing how the headband fits into daily life. I created and integrated lifestyle imagery that shows the product being used across its primary use cases: sleeping, traveling, doing yoga, and running outside, to make the brand feel active and relatable.
RETAIL & LAUNCH ASSETS
05
Finally, I pulled the entire visual system together to design the market-ready launch materials. This included creating the individual retail packaging for each colorway, organizing the layout for instruction manuals, and producing promotional graphic banners and clean video templates for the official commercial rollout.
