Surge Glow Multi-Charging Station

Overview

This project focuses on building out a complete, market-ready visual system for a multi-charging station. Using a physical hardware prototype as my starting point, I designed a full suite of commercial assets. This case study walks through how I developed the high-fidelity product renders, feature infographics, lifestyle scene integrations, and retail launch materials to clearly communicate the product's integrated lighting features and multi-device capabilities.

PRODUCT INTAKE

I started the project with a physical sample of the multi-charging station to evaluate its structure. My main focus during this initial phase was to analyze its port layout, plug configuration, and built-in lighting elements so I could establish a clear, accurate visual framework for all the marketing assets.

FEATURE COMMUNICATION

To make the station's technical capabilities easy to understand at a glance, I designed a set of clear feature graphics and icons. These visuals focus on breaking down key hardware benefits, including the fast-charging ports, total output capacity, and the functionality of the 3-level touch-controlled ambient light.

LIFESTYLE AND USE CASES

A crucial part of this project was demonstrating how the charger integrates seamlessly into everyday spaces. I created lifestyle visuals that show the device in real-world bedroom and workspace environments, highlighting how the multi-device charging works in practice and showcasing the warm look of the integrated nightlight.

RETAIL & LAUNCH ASSETS

Finally, I brought the entire visual system together to build out the commercial launch materials. This included designing clean retail variations to showcase two additional colorways for the lineup, formatting a detailed technical infographic to highlight the core hardware specs, and setting up the official unboxing video for the commercial rollout.
